My first ducted fan aircraft was a HET F15.

During construction I was most unhappy with the "balanced" fans that I had purchased.

I had to make something myself that would solve the balance problem

The picture below is a fan on the unit that is balanced. The three marks that are visible are the phase changes of the brushless motor controller being picked up by the balancer.
