BB AIRLESSRETRACTS
These units are aimed at larger models in the 10lb to 20lb range.
They are robust enough to use in even bigger models if heavy landings are avoided.
Features
BB Retracts are computer controlled and have several aspects of their operation adjustable.
BB Retracts are designed with strength and reliability in mind the body is made from 316 Stainless steel.
each retract unit weighs 198gm
The motor gearbox uses all metal gears.
The power is supplied using a central distribution loom with a 3s lipo as the source.
The BB Retract is also equipped with a servo output lead to control a servo for its own door.
The door can be left open while the leg is deployed or closed (user programmed) The door does not operate until the retract parks
There is a user adjustable time delay before a leg deploys this allows a realistic difference in timing as legs can be in different states during deployment.
The controllers monitor the current and time taken and will reset operation if outside parameters.
BB Retracts are rated for large model aircraft.
With a 12" or 300mm leg and a 10oz or 300gm weight placed where the wheel would be the BB retract still operates correctly!

Trailing link legs available to fit BB retracts or any other 1/2inch 12.7mm retract they are adjustable in length and wheel width. Wheel width 15mm - 24mm Length to order Trailing link leg x3 (2mains and a nose leg) £95.00 GBP Trailing link leg x 2 (2mains) £70.00 GBP The legs are damped and have a "rising rate" which resists harder as they are depressed and will not throw the aircraft back into the air as spring legs can.
